My first job hunting experience

An exciting day of mine
Ten minutes later, I would get a face to face interview for my first time……
This is a new city where I spend my days now. Until now, everything goes well except one thing that is my living expenses. Jesus, I am lacking of money now. So I have to find something that can be lived on. Namely, I must find a job. However, what can I do? I live nowhere but school and home since I was born. When checking up my account, I can’t help streaming down my tears. Maybe you don’t know that I have sworn my parents that I wouldn’t need their support when I leave them. I can’t break my promise. Finally, when surfing the net, I occasionally found an employing note of a middle school which needed an English teacher. My eyes immediately lit on. Because the only advantage of myself, just compare with my other aspects, I am sure, is the English. Of course, I am still an adept compared to other strong English learners. But this is my unique treasure that can make other people think I was not useless. So, I went to that school desperately.
The long ten minutes finally passed, and I got into the room with much sweat. It’s very normal, because I forgot to tell you that all my competitors are majoring in English including some of them have passed the TEM8. My god, what was I doing? Competing with a group of students who are majoring in English to pursue an occupation called English teacher?  I can’t believe how I came here. Before I went into the room, the only idea of me was going back. But I still sat in front of the two interviewers. I have dismissed anything then. Maybe the stress of survival has motivated me. I was in trouble of financial crisis.
Half an hour later, I went out of the room still covered with sweat. After all, this was my first interview especially facing so strong competitors. I went back with no hope at all.
In the evening, my phone suddenly rang. I received it awfully surprised because the man on the phone told me I was admitted to the school which I applied for job. I really couldn’t trust my ear. After the man repeated his words, I confirmed the content: sir, since your performance is very good this afternoon, you’re admitted by our school, please come here tomorrow morning on time.
A fantastic day! When I recalled the half an hour that I spent with the two interviewers, I found that my performance has really surpassed my capability. I absolutely couldn’t get that state at my ordinary situation. Maybe this could be call potential explosion. But why?  I guess, the survival stress, is the most important factor. Indeed, everyone, however his capacity is, he can motivate much more power when confronting the survival problem.
Now I’d like to celebrate my first job. Hey guy, bring me a bottle a beer when you come back!
